Enjoy your stay at this heritage home built in 1908 in the friendly southwesten town of Reston.

Located on Highway #2 (Red Coat Trail) 24 km east of the Saskatchewan border and 65 km west of Souris.

This 2-1/2 story brick home has original stained glass windows and oak hardwood floors. On the third floor are 2 bedrooms with TV, and large bathroom with shower. The second floor has three bedrooms with a TV in one and a full bath. Enjoy the comfort of the veranda on either the first or second floors, with coffee, tea, or refreshments in the evening.

Breakfast consists of a choice of french toast, waffles or pancakes, fresh fruit, porridge, or bacon and eggs.

Our area is noted for its great deer hunting. It's a paradise for bird watchers. The nearby town of Souris has Canada's longest suspension bridge, along with a lovely park, swimming and camping facilities.

We have several bicycles of all sizes for your enjoyment and touring our town. We have a beautiful park with a large variety of trees and a lovely display of flowers. The park also has a museum including a building of vintage cars and tractors. Reston also boasts a tennis court, a 9-hole golf course with well-kept greens, an RV park and a fabric store with the best of quilting materials. Of historical interest, one of the only three remaining round houses (railway) still in existence in Canada.

While in Reston, enjoy the best of Chinese food or enjoy a pizza and home baking at Dennis County Cafe.

We welcome you to our home. Reservations preferred.
