We live in a quiet, old residential neighbourhood, with lots of big old trees lining the streets. The peaceful Assiniboine River flows past the bottom of our yard, and our view of the river will make you forget you are near the heart of the city. We are located very close to downtown (walking distance) and to most attractions and facilities. We are one block from the bus stop, and very handy to the airport, bus depot, train station, and the Trans-Canada highway city route. Many very good restaurants are nearby, most of them reasonably priced.
We have been running our bed and breakfast since 1991, and we continue to enjoy meeting and hosting travellers from Canada and around the world. We enjoy travel ourselves, and it is always interesting to learn about our guests' travels and their lives. We enjoy the outdoors and being active, and we can suggest good walking and jogging routes nearby.

We invite both vacationers and business travellers, and we can accommodate extended stays. Discounts are negotiable on stays over 10 days. A very friendly small dog lives with us. He doesn't shed, and he is hypo-allergenic for most people. He will welcome your company - some guests take him for walks!
Some B&Bs will charm you with their antiques and their cute names. We are ordinary people, just like you, and instead we try to provide you with the sense of being at home. We respect your privacy, and we're here to ensure that you take home with you fond memories of your stay in Winnipeg.
